CONSULTING & GROUP WELLNESS

Nutrition counseling can also be beneficial in a group setting. This option is great for professional communities, families, or friends who are looking to build a healthy relationship with food together.

WHAT TO EXPECT

We can meet in person or virtually using a secure Telehealth platform. We will begin with an initial assessment (60-75 minutes) to discuss your nutrition concerns, history, and current eating patterns. Together, we will choose some realistic nutrition goals and make a plan that is tailored to your needs. If appropriate and requested, I will collaborate with your other healthcare providers (physician, therapist, etc).

Follow--up sessions (50-60 minutes) will be recommended based on your needs and the nutrition therapy plan.

Insurance: BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, and Aetna are currently accepted. For all other insurance providers, a superbill will be provided at each visit. This can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement, depending on your plan. Check with your insurance company to understand your out--of--network coverage for medical nutrition therapy.
